a new blog skin :)

hehe here's my new blog skin that i spent some time doing last night... including the small pictures at the title area was challenging... Google helped!

why the new blog skin? hmmm... i think it gonna be a new beginning after Oct 2012! hehe... jass wanna enjoy the little things in life :)

think i learned to slow down a lot in the work i do with the children i see in therapy... sometimes they get rushed so much that all it takes to help is to slow down...

hence i wanna apply that to my life as well... slow down to go further... slow down to not sweat over the small stuff... kapok from ade: carpe diem meaning seize the moment:)

wow... the week just passed like that...

although it was term break from school... it did not seem that i was free... perhaps cos there was still papers to write and clinical work done...

next week will have 2 days off from clinical work... shall try to finish group therapy paper! and catch up with readings!

hmm... supposed to think of some stuff as part of my personal therapy too...

hmm... that's all for now... thought process seems fragmented... perhaps will be better after painting and running tmr:)

ah... haven't been blogging... there's actually a lot of stuff that can be blogged abt... but ah... haha i have been busy and thus lazy to blog too.. hehe...

oki first and foremost... i just got rid of a com table in my room! hehe... and make some space... but haha i still have alot of things! hehe... gonna donate my com tmr to an ex-student of mine... my ex-colleagues are doing a very meaningful project for this student... glad i can contribute a small part! hehe... using the word 'ex' seems funny... haha but yet it is true...hehe...

hmmm... did not go for clinical internship today... my first ml... hmmm... struggled a lot before i decided not to go in the end... i'm glad i made this decision... it is definitely part of self-care! i had a very bad headache last night... did not want to take panadol as i have been taking a lot lately... so tried to sleep early to make it go away... but it failed terribly... i turned and tossed in pain for an hour plus in bed... sleeping and awaking up... in the end still woke up to take panadol... the pain was then unbearable... think next time not gonna try le... will just take immediately... so due to the disturbed rest last night... i woke up feeling very tired and had a backache too... supposed to see 5 clients today... which i did not think i can pull thru... so the decided to rest... called the place quite late cos the first time i called the office was not opened yet... and when i set e alarm to wake up half and hour later... i set the alarm in pm mode! sigh... hope it would not affect my evaluation ah....

last week during therapy... cl celebrated my growth with me... though i was initially skeptical abt having to go thru weekly personal therapy... i now know it is much needed and it's definitely beneficial for me... really thank God for cl... i am now in the making of a cross-stitch for myself! haha... yup it is part of therapy... supposed to be a bday pressie for myself! haha.... i hope i can finish before my bday... progress is really slow ah! hehe.... but i am definitely falling in love with it! esp when i rem the purpose behind it!

haha yeah! there's no sch tmr! an extended rest from today... hee... this week is term break.. so strange to have term break in feb... hehe... but ah... only one day and one evening no class lah... still have internship... haha.... but ok i know... better than nothing! hehe... other than bringing the comp to the student's place... i want to start on my assignment which is due next week and also start on the cover letter for the scholarship application too... hehe... ya i finally decided to give it a try after giving up on it last year... hehe.. finally sort of got thru the online part.... now left with the hard copy sending! gambatei! yes indeed no harm trying... getting it would then be a bonus! hehe! and like crow says... if God wants me to have it... i will get it! haha... AMEN! though ah... haha... i have little faith.... oppppsss... hehe.... must have BIG FAITH! hehe....

the weeks to come gonna be packed with intense clinical internship and assignments... wow... rather scary ah... really need to gambatei! may the Lord grant me strength and wisdom!

hehe! a new beginning with 2009!

hehe... 2009 is here! and this marks the end of my hols into the new busy semester! hehe! yeah! excited to go back to school! haha... but i know it gonna be crazy ah! with 1 full day of lessons, 1 evening class and 3 full days of clinical internship! there goes my entire week! fri is my only free day... hope to do some part time work on that day... wow... this will last all the way to May 2009! wow!

hehe... then was just looking back at the holidays... the things i have done and the things i have not done... hehe... here is my 'report card'... haha...

1. Watch Madagascar! - not done ah... missed it... will get the dvd! hehe!
2. Apply for scholarship! - not done... haha... really hard to get thru the application!
3. Send email for clinical supervision and confirm a place! - done! hehe!
4. Christmas pressies! - yeah done! bought all the gifts i have fro my dear freinds!
5. My wish list! haha! - haha! completed with all the pressies i have received!
6. Pick up jogging again! - haha! done but need to work on sustaining! highest record- 3 times a week! haha!
7. Read the untouched readings! - eh... still working on it! haha!
8. Finish my novel! - yeah done! but after borders fair! i have more to read! haha!
9. Part time work! - yeah done! some pocket money for myself! hope to continue! ah... but my tuition kid not going tocont tuition le... the parent says the problem does not lies with me... i hope so! sigh... was thinking of more ways to help her! hmm.... but perhaps it is good too... cos location wise... it is really far!
10. Watch all the dramas i have missed! - haha done! channel 55 rocks and hubstation! hehe!
11. Finish my oil painting! - self-declared completed! haha! the painting is on my shelf now! with this painting done... i gonna stop attending class for a while... hmm... hehe...
12. Meet up with u! yes u! - done! hehe! i met up with u rite? haha!

haha... i think overall... i passed with flying colours! haha! what do u think? hehe...

hehe... finally...

hehe... didn't have time to blog for the entire week... was working part time at the research company... OT almost everyday ah! 12 hours in front of com! wow! man... office job really not for me... hehe... not long term... hehe... but it's a good way to earn some extra cash for this holiday season... my savings is seriously depreciating... hehe...

tada! here's the latest development of my oil painting! hehe! 99% covered with paint! but still not finished! haha... i don't care! must finish tmr or i wll self declare it is finished... haha... tmr there is a mini exhibition cum competition at the cc... the residents will vote for their favourite painting and the artist will win a token... quite fun rite...hehe... i'm entering this piece for the competition... lazy to bring the rest... haha... i have entitled this piece "Yes, I Love You"... haha... fang gave me a good suggestion too! to entitle it "Joy"... hehe...

was packing my table the other time after the first sem... second sem is going to be rather hectic and demanding... hehe... while packing... i shifted my AT books to put them together.... used to be all the other books! and see what i have! tada! haha... i love my books! but not while trying to finish reading them to write my papers though...haha....

that's all from me for now.... hehe... the next blog i shall blog abt my dresses! haha! Yes i started to buy dresses and not my usual clothes! haha! a new resolution for 2009! wah! but come with a cost man! they are not cheap! esp the one bought yesterday! hehe... but i like them! haha... my friends, i'm sure u all are glad that i'm wearing dresses! haha... but they are not for dating! haha.. their are for my new AT beginning! hehe...

hehe... was doing my children's book... pg 9 out of 20! gosh... when i came across this... hehe... i wanna read Peanuts comics! it has so much things abt life in it.....

oh yeah... and i found the moods thingy that you can post on your blog! yup so cool! haha... yes and now i am stressed cos i have a children's book, a research proposal, an exam and 2 presentations all happening in one week! faintz! can someone tell me i can make it? haha...
